Bio

Scott Oakford joined HRCP in 1990 and has over thirty years of experience in private equity, finance, investments, banking and corporate development. Scott is Managing Partner of the Firm, chairs the Investment Committee, and is a member of the Management Committee. He maintains an extensive network of deal sources and is thoroughly versed in valuation methods, investment and credit analysis, financing methods, and legal, accounting and organizational issues of private companies. Scott currently serves as director of Inspire Automation. He was previously director of 12 HRCP portfolio companies and served, on an interim basis, as Chief Financial Officer of AGCO and President of Maloney Industries. Scott began his financial career at Chemical Bank concentrating on acquisition financing after receiving a B.S. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
