Mr. Strom focuses on sales, marketing and regulatory issues for portfolio companies and also seeks new investment areas based on industry and regulatory trends. Prior to co-founding TPC, Mr. Strom served in increasing levels of responsibility in industrial sales, marketing and business development with Union Carbide Corporation (1975 ? 1982), J.P.J. Industries, Inc. of Kingwood, Texas (1982 ? 1983), and Fish Engineering and Construction, Inc., Houston, Texas (1983-1984). During this time, Mr. Strom was responsible for marketing and project management services in the cogeneration, natural gas treating, and processing, and enhanced oil recovery industries. While at Union Carbide, he was responsible for petrochemical sales in the Chemical and Plastics Division, in the Midwest and Southern regions of the U.S. Mr. Strom graduated, cum laude, with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois in 1975.
