Ricky Stokes is a Managing Director and Head of H.I.G. U.S. Lower Middle Market Private Equity Funds, overseeing all of the day-to-day investing and portfolio management activities of the funds. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a Managing Director at H.I.G., leading investments across a wide range of industries. With over 20 years of experience in middle-market private equity, he is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction structuring, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies. Ricky currently serves on the boards of several H.I.G. portfolio companies. Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2000, Ricky was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Salomon Smith Barney. Ricky received a B.A. as a dual major in Economics and Government from Cornell University.
