Bio

Rahul Vinnakota is a Managing Director and Head of North American Industrials, based in New York. As a member of the H.I.G. Advantage Fund, he is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, transaction structuring, financing, and execution of post-closing growth strategies. Rahul has over 20 years of experience investing in and advising middle-market companies. Rahul is focused on the industrial services, distribution, industrial technology, and light manufacturing sectors. Prior to joining H.I.G., Rahul worked in middle-market private equity at Tailwind Capital. Rahul began his career in middle-market mergers and acquisitions with J.P. Morgan and Brown Brothers Harriman. Rahul received his B.A., with honors, in Economics from Duke University and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He is a member Young Presidents Organization and a former member of the Board of Advisors for The Kenan Institute for Ethics and Annual Fund Executive Committee at Duke.
