Bio

Joe is a Principal based in the Miami office of H.I.G. Capital. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and executing post-closing growth and operational strategies. Joe has private equity investing experience across a wide range of industries including business services, consumer, energy and manufacturing. Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2011, Joe was a Vice President with Nautic Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm, where he focused on late stage buyouts and recapitalizations. Prior to that, Joe was a member of the Global Energy and Utilities Group of the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley where he worked on a variety of debt, equity and advisory assignments. Joe earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, summa cum laude, and M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.
