Bio

James Mitchell is a Principal in our London office, covering growth equity, leveraged buy-out and distressed investments across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Nordic region and leads our Healthcare activities in Europe. Prior to joining H.I.G. in 2014, James worked at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, where he focused on Healthcare and Retail sectors. Previously, he was a Surgical registrar at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London. James obtained an MBA from INSEAD, as well as Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science degrees from the University of Nottingham.
