Felipe Franco is a Managing Director based in H.I.G. Capital’s Rio de Janeiro office and has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Consulting, and Operations. Before joining H.I.G. Brazil, he was the CEO of Cel Lep Idiomas for four years. Earlier in his career, he was IT and SSC Vice President at Anheuser-Busch Inbev in Eastern Europe, where he was responsible for the implementation of a Shared Services Center for Eastern Europe based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Prior to that, Felipe worked in Stern Stewart implementing value-based management in some of the leading companies in Brazil and Argentina and monitoring the privatization of Brazil’s electric and telecommunications sectors by Unibanco. Felipe has an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of Fundação Getulio Vargas de São Paulo (EAESP/FGV) with a Bachelor in Business Management. Born in Brazil, he is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
