Bio

Daniel is a Managing Director based in H.I.G. Capital’s Rio de Janeiro office. He is responsible for sourcing and executing real estate transactions in Latin America and has more than 12 years of experience in the Brazilian real estate market. Prior to joining H.I.G., Daniel was a partner of GP Investments Real Estate, where he was responsible for commercial real estate investments. Earlier in his career, he worked for 4 years at Cushman & Wakefield as a Director. Daniel has led almost 20 Real Estate transactions in Brazil which totaled more than R$ 2 billion. Daniel earned an M.B.A. from INSPER and is also a graduate of the Universidade Paulista with a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering. Born in Brazil, he is fluent in Portuguese and English.
