Daniel is a Director in H.I.G. Europe’s Hamburg office, where he focuses on LBO and growth equity investments, in particular in the healthcare, chemicals, natural resources and industrials sectors. Daniel is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and represents H.I.G. on the board of several portfolio companies. Daniel has more than a decade of experience in private equity, M&A and strategy consulting. Prior to joining H.I.G. Europe in 2014, Daniel worked for McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and was part of the Private Equity leadership group in Germany. Before that, he worked at Credit Suisse’s M&A group in New York City, where he focused on transactions in the healthcare, chemicals, natural resources and industrials sectors. Daniel earned an M.B.A., with distinction, from New York University Stern School of Business and a masters-equivalent degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann) from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
