Alexandre Ekierman is a Principal in H.I.G.’s New York office and a senior member of the Capital Markets team for the North American Private Equity business. He is responsible for all aspects of the financing process for both new platforms and existing portfolio companies, including credit structuring and syndication. As part of his role, Alexandre also helps to manage H.I.G.’s broader capital markets strategy and lender relationships. Alexandre has more than 10 years of capital markets and investing experience. Prior to joining H.I.G., he spent 7 years at KKR where he was a Director in the Credit & Markets division, responsible for private debt and capital markets origination and execution for financial sponsors and other firm clients. Prior to KKR, Alexandre spent 2 years at NewGlobe Capital Partners and 3 years at J.P. Morgan, where he focused on leveraged finance transactions across European markets. Alexandre received his B.S.E. (Cum Laude) from Princeton University.
