Charlie is a Managing Director for Business Development at H.I.G. Capital. He is responsible for identifying and pursuing new investment opportunities across H.I.G.’s funds. Prior to joining H.I.G., Charlie had a successful 16 year Investment Banking career. He was a Managing Director at a number of leading middle market firms including: Houlihan Lokey, where he ran the firm’s southeast U.S. Investment Banking effort; Macquarie Capital, where he led the Diversified Manufacturing and Distribution practice group; and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he headed the firm’s Industrial group. Prior to his Investment Banking career, Charlie served as a Officer in the U.S. Navy. His service included roles as a Surface Warfare Office and Nuclear Engineer. Charlie received his M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.S. with distinction in Economics with Honors from the United States Naval Academy.
