Bio

Alex brings over 15 years of experience in life sciences investment banking, corporate development, and private equity. Prior to joining Gurnet Point, Alex worked at a health tech startup, developing a novel approach for investing in public biotechnology using quantitative methods and big data. He also worked as an investment banker from 2012 to 2021, focused on Life Sciences M&A and capital markets transactions, initially at Deutsche Bank, and most recently at MTS Health Partners. Alex began his career as an investment analyst at Global Finance, a Greece-based private equity firm. He graduated from Athens University of Economics & Business with honors and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
