Bio

Tom Feldstein is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of GTIS. Mr. Feldstein’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the firm’s legal affairs both in the US and Brazil, as well as the firm’s operations, offices and infrastructure. Mr. Feldstein is a member of the General Partner’s U.S. and Brazil Funds Investment Committees and is a member of the Board of Directors of Brazil Hospitality Group, one of the largest owners and managers of hotels in Brazil. Mr. Feldstein’s experience in the real estate industry began in 1984. Prior to joining GTIS, Mr. Feldstein was an attorney in private practice providing transactional legal services for a variety of clients, including GTIS. From 2002 through 2009, Mr. Feldstein was a Managing Director at Tishman Speyer, initially responsible for supervising Tishman Speyer’s legal activities in the Midwest and Western United States. From 2004 through 2009, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tishman Speyer Office Fund, a REIT listed on the Australian Stock Exchange which owned and managed an interest in a US commercial office portfolio encompassing eight million square feet in New York, Greenwich, Milwaukee, Chicago, Suburban Virginia, San Francisco, Seattle, Beverly Hills, and Orange County. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Mr. Feldstein was a partner in the San Francisco transactional law firm of Greene Radovsky Maloney & Share focusing on acquisition, development, financing, and leasing of commercial, residential, and retail properties. Mr. Feldstein received an A.B. with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University in 1979 and a J.D. from Northwestern University in 1983.
