Bio

Joe joined GTCR in 2022 as Managing Director and Chief Information Security Officer. Joe focuses on both GTCR security and data privacy, as well as supporting our portfolio companies on similar initiatives. He also co-leads the firm’s Portfolio Resources Group, which provides functional support to GTCR’s investment teams and portfolio company leadership. Prior to joining GTCR, Joe was the Global Chief Information Security Officer at HCL Software and the Chief Information Security Officer at Bloomberg Industry Group. Prior to his private sector experiences, Joe spent 15 years with the Central Intelligence Agency as an Intelligence Officer in the Office of Security. Joe holds a BS degree from Saint Joseph’s University and has completed executive leadership programs at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the Harvard Kennedy School.
