Bio

Alex joined GCP in 2011 and has extensive experience of leading and supporting GCP investments. He currently sits on the boards of Infinity Works, The DMW Group and Chaucer. Alex also led the GCP investment in Cooke Optics, a manufacturer of specialist cine lenses which resulted in a successful exit to a financial buyer in 2018. Alex was also involved in the AMG, John Henry Group, Scopus and Iglu investments. Prior to GCP, Alex worked in investment banking at Investec, completing a number of public and private transactions. He is a chartered accountant, qualifying with PwC’s Banking & Capital Markets division. Alex has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of York.
