Dan founded Fireman Capital Partners in 2008 and currently focuses on all aspects of the Fund’s investment strategy, execution and portfolio company management. Over the last 8 years, Dan has been responsible for raising and investing over $250 million across 14 investments, the total value of which exceeds $1 billion in aggregate today. Dan serves on the boards of Dunn’s River Brands, CANarchy, and Surfside Coffee Company. Previously, Dan served on the boards of Skip Hop, Newton Running, and Hudson Clothing prior to its sale to Joe’s Jeans. Dan also currently serves on the board and is an advisor to several non-profit and other organizations, including the Board of Overseers at Babson College, Founding Chairman of One Family, Inc., Trustee of The Fireman Family Foundation, Trustee of The First Tee and the founding partner of Fair Shot. Additionally, Dan is the founder of Windrose Advisors, a multi-family office with over $1 billion in assets under management. With his love of golf, Dan is the co-founder of Liberty National Golf Course outside of New York City. Prior to 2008, Dan was the CEO of Willowbend Development, LLC, where he successfully turned around and ran a portfolio that comprised over $500 million of LP capital invested in complex real estate partnerships, including the Westin Rio Mar (San Juan, PR), J.W. Marriott Star Pass (Tucson, AZ), Liberty National (Jersey City, NJ) and Willowbend Country Club (Mashpee, MA). Prior to leading Willowbend Development, Dan held various sales, strategy and marketing leadership roles at Reebok. Dan holds a BA from Emory University and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
