Kesav joined the Greybull team in 2016. Kesav manages deals, assists with fund Limited Partner matters, and helps portfolio companies with operational and legal endeavors. He believes that trusting great company leaders is the best way to build portfolio value. His primary objective is to use Greybull’s resources to help portfolio companies solve problems and grow their businesses. Kesav grew up in Moorestown, New Jersey and earned a BA in Global Justice at Duke University. He was one of twelve Americans to receive the George Mitchell Scholarship to pursue his MA in International Relations at Dublin City University. After his MA, he received the ELI Fellowship to be a social entrepreneur consultant for one year. During this period, he lived in and worked for non-profits in Texas, Venezuela, Ireland, and Dubai. Kesav graduated from Duke University School of Law in 2009. Before Greybull, he was a lawyer at Foley & Lardner, in-house counsel at BizLab, Inc., and founded multiple start-ups. He is an active angel investor, primarily investing in tech and sports businesses. Kesav has a goal to visit every country in the world (127 so far), visit the North Pole, and go into outer space. He did not travel much growing up, and caught the international travel bug as an undergraduate student. His personal passion is adventure travel. Adventures include: wing walking in the state of Washington, taking alligator wrestling lessons in Colorado and swimming with whales north of the Arctic Circle. His next adventures will involve descending into a volcano in Nicaragua– with a heat suit to get close to the lava!
