As Principal, Derek DeAndrade works on all phases of deal execution while helping to facilitate the growth of Green Rock’s platform across multiple functional areas. Derek joined Green Rock in 2023 from Arctaris Impact Investors, a Boston-based private equity impact investing firm. At Arctaris, Derek served in a dual role as both Vice President and Chief of Staff. As Vice President, Derek focused on renewable energy transactions and portfolio management. As Chief of Staff, he worked to institutionalize the fund platform, helping to grow the firm’s AUM by roughly five times to $300 million and increase the headcount from 9 to 30 employees. Derek joined Arctaris from MIT Sloan, and prior to that, he was with BrightSphere Investment Group, where he split time between the investment and fundraising teams. Derek is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan as well as a BS in Finance from Elon University.
