Steve, together with the other members of Green Courte’s legal team, is responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of Green Courte’s business and investments. Steve has been with Green Courte since 2008. Prior to joining Green Courte, Steve was a Partner in DLA Piper’s real estate transactions practice, and he continues as Senior Counsel to the law firm. He joined DLA Piper in 1999. Earlier in his career, Steve was an officer of Rosenberg & Liebentritt, P.C., a Chicago law firm affiliated with Equity Group Investments, LLC (1993-1999), and an associate at Sidley & Austin (now Sidley Austin LLP) (1990-1993). Before enrolling in law school, Steve was an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. (later Arthur Andersen LLP) from 1985-1987. Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant.
