Merche del Valle is a Managing Director and the Chief Talent Officer at Grain Management. Merche brings over 23 years of experience in Talent Intelligence, Leadership and Organizational Development (OD) and Executive Coaching in multiple industries across the globe. She is responsible for developing a robust and diverse pipeline of leadership talent, working across Grain and portfolio companies to identify, assess, recruit, deploy, enrich and retain exceptionally talented high performing professionals. Prior to Grain, Merche led Goldman Sachs’ global coaching and advisory practice, preparing partners and select managing directors to lead the firm's next generation of people and businesses. Before that Merche was Regional Head of Talent, Leadership and OD at Prudential Corporation in Asia Pacific, where she built organizational capability for growth, identifying and developing leadership talent; prior to that she worked for Unilever where she was Director of Leadership and Organizational Development. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she spent over 13 years in roles in leadership and management consulting roles in London, Madrid, and Singapore. Ms. del Valle holds her degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF, Complutense University of Madrid and numerous Human Capital Assessment and Development accreditations; she is a certified Executive Coach and was recently awarded the highest Master Practitioner Executive Coaching level by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
