Bio

David Braun is Director, Senior Corporate Counsel at Gordon Brothers. David advises the firm’s retail and commercial and industrial leaders and teams on legal strategy and deal structuring, documentation and execution. He has over five years’ experience developing and executing corporate restructuring strategies and advising clients on distressed transactions, including complex Chapter 11 cases, out-of-court restructurings, direct lending transactions, and distressed acquisitions and investments. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, David was an associate on the corporate restructuring and bankruptcy team at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP where he represented ad hoc creditor groups, unsecured creditor committees, large secured and unsecured creditors, debtors and trust administrators. David has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law where he graduated cum laude. He is based in Boston.
