Sharon Sun is Head of Direct Investment for China at GIC. In this role, Sharon oversees direct private equity investments in China and sits on the Private Equity Global Investment Committee. Sharon also serves as Head of GIC’s Beijing Office. In this role, Sharon oversees corporate legal and relations for GIC in China. Sharon joined GIC in 2008. Prior to joining GIC, Sharon was senior investment officer at International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Manager at McKinsey & Company. Earlier in her career, she was an officer at the People’s Bank of China (PBOC). Sharon holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
