Lee Zhi Zhang is Head of Finance & Accounting and Corporate Accounting at GIC. He oversees GIC’s finance function, which is responsible for controllership, financial accounting, cash operations, and FP&A activities of GIC corporate and SPV entities. The finance function also performs valuation, investment operations, deal support, reporting, and treasury management activities for the private markets. Prior to joining GIC in 2017, Zhi Zhang worked for Shell in The Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore. He led their global Portfolio Planning function, served as CFO of a joint venture, and led Asia Pacific business development, as well as merger, acquisition and divestment activities in the region. He was previously a board committee member of MLNG. Zhi Zhang holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Practising Accountant.
