Bio

Mike is a private equity investor with more than 19 years’ experience in growth equity, buyouts, carve-outs, turnarounds, structured equity, and quoted equity. Mike has originated, executed and managed investments across many industry sectors, spending 12 years at mid-market private equity firm 3i, where he was a Partner, before joining Macquarie as Head of Principal Investments EMEA in 2012. In the healthcare space, he was responsible for 3i’s investments in Westminster Healthcare and Care Principles, led the UK Healthcare team, and played a key role in its investment in Phibro and led several other significant transactions. Mike began his career at Mobil Oil UK, where he managed a £30 million turnover business for the Retail Fuels Division. He has a degree in Management & Systems from City University and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
