Lorna brings 18 years of in-depth experience in the financial services industry, including over 10 years spent in senior positions in the private equity sector. In her last role at Coller Capital, Lorna was Head of Group Finance from 2013-2017, responsible for budgeting, financial control, UK tax as well as other financial functions and group projects. Prior to the role at Coller, Lorna held the positions of Head of Finance and Operations within RBS’ Strategic Investment Group and Head of Finance for the Global Restructuring Group Ireland from 2011-2013. From 2005-2011 Lorna was an Associate and latterly Associate Director at Terra Firma, where her primary responsibility was statutory and management accounting for all the main fund and co-investment partnerships. Prior to Terra Firma, Lorna held roles in the Finance Department of News International (2003-2005) and in the Financial Services Division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (1999-2003). Lorna graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Sheffield and is a Qualified Chartered Accountant (2002), also holding an Investment Management Certificate (2007).
