Bio

Ms. Duvall is a Co-Founder and Senior Managing Partner of GESD.  She serves on the board of Forklift Brands (Boudin, Go Roma), Austin's Entertainment, LLC and Milton’s Baking Company.  Ms. Duvall is actively involved in directing the firm’s investment strategy as well as portfolio company relations.  Ms. Duvall’s other responsibilities include investor relations and firm management.   Prior to GESD, Ms. Duvall managed and directed Breadboard Enterprises and Breadboard Investments, which are private equity investment vehicles.  She was also a consultant to Preferred Capital Markets, Inc. (“PCM”), and advised PCM on several equity transactions.  Prior to her work in private equity investing, Ms. Duvall was an executive with the Pacific Coast Baking Company (“PCB”) and several of its related entities, where she led PCB’s consolidation of regional bakeries and distributors along with Mr. Giraudo.  She was Chief Financial Officer of PCB, Chairman and CEO of Andre-Boudin Bakeries, Inc. and a member of the board of both PCB and Mother’s Cake and Cookie Co.  Before her work in the food industry, Ms. Duvall, a Certified Public Accountant, worked at Coopers & Lybrand as an auditor and as a manager in the emerging business department.   Ms. Duvall holds a degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University.
