Bio

Mr. Briggs is a Co-Founder and Partner of GESD and currently serves on the board of several portfolio companies, including Forklift Holdings (Boudin, Go Roma), Innobake Brands, Austin's Entertainment, LLC and Milton’s Baking Company.  Mr. Briggs focuses on deal sourcing, acquisition structuring and related financing activities.  Mr. Briggs is also involved in firm strategy and management as well as investor relations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Briggs was a tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in San Francisco where he worked extensively with equity sponsors on mergers and acquisitions, tax structuring and related advisory services to clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, financial services and telecommunications.  He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Briggs holds a BA degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a MS degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
