Kal Mukherjee is a Managing Director of Portfolio Operations at Gemspring Capital. Kal has over 25 years of experience working with C-suite leadership to drive growth, improve processes, and reduce costs. He specializes in operational excellence, pricing and strategic planning, M&A, and post-merger integration. Prior to Gemspring, Kal was Operating Partner at Apollo Global Management where he partnered with portfolio management teams to drive operational improvement, pricing, sales force effectiveness, and overall process improvement. Prior to Apollo, Kal worked at AlixPartners, Nielsen Media Research, Danaher Corporation, and McKinsey. Kal received his BTech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, an MS from Penn State, and an MBA from University of Rochester.
