Chirag Hirawat is a Principal at Gemspring Capital. Prior to joining Gemspring, Chirag was a Vice President at BlackIvy Group, a US-based holding company that owns and operates essential services businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to BlackIvy, Chirag was a Vice President at Golden Gate Capital, a $15 billion AUM private equity firm, where he evaluated and executed new investments and monitored portfolio companies in the consumer and software sectors. Chirag began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs where he focused on leveraged finance transactions for private equity and corporate clients. Chirag serves on the board of Zavation. Chirag received a BA in International Relations, magna cum laude, from New York University.
