José María joined GED in 2015 upon the acquisition by GED of Ahorro Corporacion’s Infrastructure mandates. He currently serves as Investment Director for GED Infrastructure. José María has over 13 years of experience in investment banking developed in the areas of infrastructure funds, capital markets and M&A. During that time he has participated in equity and/or debt transactions in various sectors such as concessions, highways, food, engineering, paper, Real Estate, construction, pet food, automotive logistics and health, among others. Before joining GED José María served for eight years at Ahorro Corporación Financiera, two years at Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild and three years at Unicaja. José María holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master in Finance from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI-ICADE.
