Bio

Tristan is responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, deal execution and portfolio company monitoring. He co-leads the firm's investing efforts in commercial and residential services, beauty and personal care, and marketing technology. He serves as a Director of Exact Customer, Performance Beauty Group and Apple Roofing. Prior to joining Gauge, Tristan was a Senior Associate at Stone Arch Capital, where he focused on middle market private equity investments in the industrials, business services and consumer products industries. Earlier in his career, Tristan worked in the investment banking division at Lazard, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and mergers and acquisitions. Tristan received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BA in economics from Macalester College.
