Mr. Davidson has been involved in the medical device industry for over 35 years and has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of publicly-held orthopedic company Encore Medical and specialized medical supply provider Maxxim Medical. As Chief Executive Officer of Maxxim Medical, Inc., Mr. Davidson grew the business from less than $10 million in revenue to over $700 million. Prior to Encore and Maxxim Medical, Inc., Mr. Davidson held various positions with Intermedics, Baxter and Merck. Mr. Davidson currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medical Action Industries, a leading supplier of medical and surgical products with revenues of approximately $400 million and is a Special Venture Partner at Galen Partners.
