Kapil Venkatachalam Bio

Kapil is a growth equity investor at FTV Capital where he leads minority and control investments in enterprise technology and services. Kapil has invested in 10 companies that have been acquired and four companies that have gone public, and he was recognized on GrowthCap’s Top Investors List in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019. Prior to joining FTV, Kapil was a general partner at TCV, where he partnered with entrepreneurs across the B2B landscape. He has particular interest in IT security, data analytics, and front-office and vertical market technologies.
