Ron focuses on investments in the industrial sector. Ron joined Frontenac in 2006. He leads the firm’s industrial investing activity and is responsible for sourcing new investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies. Ron is currently a director at EFC International, MCE and Newterra. Ron’s prior investments and directorships include Excellarate, Liquid Technologies, Ohio Transmission Corp, Portfolio Group, Sigma Corporation, and Wenner Bread Products. Ron is a member of the firm’s Investment and Management Committees. He leads investment operations and co-leads the firm’s work with limited partners. Prior to Frontenac, Ron worked in private equity at Churchill Capital and H.I.G. He started his career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley. A Minnesota native, Ron graduated summa cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and earned an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
