Rick joined Frazier Healthcare Partners as General Counsel and a Center of Excellence Partner, Legal & Operations in 2014 to help expand and advise the firm’s portfolio of growing healthcare companies. He brings significant legal, financial, and administrative experience in the generic and biopharmaceutical industry to Frazier’s Growth Buyout team. Before joining Frazier, Rick was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Aptalis Pharmaceuticals. In addition, he has served in numerous senior executive roles for APP Pharmaceuticals, including as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Business Development Officer. He also held senior positions with Abraxis BioScience and American BioScience. Rick has worked with major financial organizations and independent law firms and has held both legal and financial positions with companies including Merrill Lynch, Deloitte & Touche, and McDonough, Holland & Allen. Rick serves on the Boards of AADI Bioscience, Inc., (Nasdaq: AADI) and is Chair of the Compensation Committee and a Member of the Audit Committee. Rick earned his BS in Economics from John Carroll University. He obtained his J.D from Santa Clara University, and his LL.M in Taxation from Boston University. Rick is also a member of the California State Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
