Adam joined Frazier Healthcare Partners in April of 2023. With Over 20 years of IT experience, Adam has led technology and data initiatives focusing on architecture, delivery, and cost optimization. Before coming to Frazier, Adam was a Senior Director of Data Engineering at Mercury Healthcare/WebMD Provider Services, where he led teams of engineers building data-driven products to enable health systems to better engage with patients, prospective patients, and physicians. Operating fully in cloud architecture, Adam helped lead efforts to measure and align cloud-based infrastructure and vendor costs. Prior to joining Mercury, Adam was a Director of Software Engineering at Optum/UnitedHealth Group and led efforts to build both operational and analytical data capabilities for a $50 billion contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This platform integrated provider, enrollment, referral, and claims data across medical, dental, and Rx to enable provider directory services, operational reporting, and fraud, waste, and abuse detection. Before Optum, Adam helped lead the data warehousing efforts at Kroll Ontrack, a pioneering provider of e-discovery services. While at Kroll Ontrack, Adam led transformative efforts to leverage big data technologies and was also involved in consultative engagements directly with clients providing data-driven analysis on sensitive matters. In the community, Adam is a member of the University of Minnesota Duluth Computer Science Department Advisory Board and volunteers with MinneAnalytics as a judge for their annual undergraduate and graduate Student Data Science Challenge. Adam graduated with a degree from the University of Minnesota, Duluth with a BS in computer science, summa cum laude, and a BBA in management. He obtained his MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlton School of Management.
