Llew is a Partner and co-founder at FPE Capital. Having concluded from a degree in Natural Sciences that life as a scientist wasn’t for him, he took the plunge into professional services, metamorphosed into a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte and subsequently worked there for a number of years in a variety of corporate finance related roles. He started his private equity life over a decade ago at Nova Capital Management, which involved both investment decisions and day-to-day involvement in the operations of portfolio companies. He joining the FPE team in 2012. Like all Partners he is involved in all aspects of the investment cycle, from deal origination and execution through ongoing board representation and exit management. He has invested in a variety of B2B sectors, with a recent focus on media, software and telecoms sectors. He is a mix of committed north Londoner, proud Welshman and mildly frustrated inner nerd – married with two young children and a large extended family, he enjoys cooking, reading and getting outdoors into the wild when life allows him time, which isn’t very often.
