Bio

Dan is a Partner and co-founder of FPE Capital. Having started his career in leveraged finance (Singer & Friedlander, RBS) providing acquisition funding to the UK mid-market private equity community, his desire to be part of the team delivering the upside, rather than just worrying about the downside, led him to jump the fence into private equity. Over his career as a lending banker Dan led a large number of transactions across a broad range of B2B sectors. On teaming up with Henry and David at FPE in 2008, that interest in funding and growing B2B SMEs continued, but with a particular focus on service-led business and those in the financial technology space. Dan is involved in all aspects of FPE’s activities, including the origination and completion of new investments and portfolio management. Outside of FPE, when not on family duty, Dan can be found watching or playing sports of all kinds, but golf, cricket and watching (winning) Welsh rugby are his passions.
