At PiP Ed has been involved in all investments the organisation has made since joining PiP in late 2015 and currently acts as a board-level director for Red Funnel Ferries, two wind portfolios, Southmead Hospital PFI, and a waste PFI. Prior to joining Ed spent over 20 years in Lloyds Banking Group (comprising Lloyds, Bank of Scotland and Halifax) where has was a Senior Director of the infrastructure and energy team focused on providing advisory and financing solution to the utilities, transportation and energy sectors utilizing both the banks balance sheet and third-party capital. During his time within Lloyds Group he also held various senior roles including Head of the Lloyds Renewable Energy Group, Head of European Structured Asset Finance and Co-Head of Leasing where he was instrumental in financing assets from an equity and debt perspective across the power, telecoms, property and transportation (rail, shipping and aviation) sectors. Ed graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Geography.
