Roberto Travaglino is a Senior Partner at Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR since September 2014. Previously Roberto has worked for 15 years in Barclays, both in Milan and London, where he held various Corporate and Investment banking positions and developed broad expertise in financing solutions for Italian corporates. Lately Roberto was a member of the Debt Finance team, responsible for originating and executing financing transactions for Italian mid corporates. From 1999 to 2008 Roberto was part of the Investment Banking division, where he worked on several LBOs, acquisition financing, capital markets and syndicated loans transactions. Before joining Barclays, Roberto worked for KPMG Corporate Finance (1996-1999) in financial advisory, and Arthur Andersen. Roberto graduated in Business Economics from the Catholic University of Milan and completed Corporate Finance and Capital Markets courses at Harvard University. He is a Chartered Accountant since 1996.
