Bio

Brent serves as a Director of Finance and Operations of the Private Capital team. He previously spent 5 years working at Investec in South Africa where he specialized in equity derivative structuring and credit trading. Thereafter, he spent 8 years split between working as the CFO of a US based PE Fund and later of a start-up edtech company where he focused his efforts on distinguishing between US and South African accounting and tax reporting requirements. His passion for accounting and tax plus his knowledge of derivatives sees him well equipped to handle all financial aspects of fund administration. He currently serves on the advisory board of Felbridge, the largest cannabis producer in South Africa. He graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
