Pedro has more than 25 years’ experience as senior banking executive, management consultant and entrepreneur. Currently he serves as CEO of FSC portfolio company Ufasa. During the last six years, he has operated as an entrepreneur, investor and adviser for mid-sized businesses. For the previous 13 years Pedro held leadership positions in banking; leading many growth, transformation and reorganisation projects. His prior roles include General Manager of Novo Banco, Banco Espirito Santo, CFO & COO of Barclays Europe and several managerial positions in Banesto. He started his career with McKinsey and Company. Pedro holds an MBA, Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, Tepper School of Business, USA and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
