Mr. Steiglehner’s expertise is in investing across the capital structure using a variety of debt and equity instruments, products in public and private situations, ranging from leveraged buyouts to liquidations including restructurings through multiple credit cycles. As a senior leader within organizations and a member of investment and management committees he has originated,structured, invested, and managed billions of dollars of investments. Prior to joining Fidus in 2018, Mr. Steiglehner was a founding partner of TPG Specialty Lending (Ticker: TSLX) and a Managing Director of Sixth Street Partners, a $20 billion alternative asset manager. In 2003, Mr. Steiglehner was recruited by Silver Point Capital to create and co-found Silver Point Capital’s principal investment business, Silver Point Finance. He was instrumental in assembling the team and growing it to be a multi-billion business. Mr. Steiglehner has also held leadership positions at Foothill Capital and Gleacher & Co. He started his finance career at the Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. in 1994. In addition, he clerked for two Federal judges (Marcel Livaudais, Jr., E.D.La. and Vincent L. Broderick,S.D.N.Y.) Mr. Steiglehner received his A.B. from Princeton University and has a J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University.
