Mr. Knop has more than seven years of investment banking and investment management expertise, exclusively focused on the government contracting industry. His experience includes nearly 15 transactions both from the sell-side and buy-side, ranging from $15 million to $200 million. Prior to joining FedCap, Mr. Knop was a Principal at JRK Ventures LLC where he was responsible for managing multiple private company ownership interests, evaluation of potential investments, assistance in the development of the overall investment strategy, strategic business support, and valuation analysis. In addition, he led in depth M&A transactional support for multiple companies, which included successful acquisitions and a majority recapitalization with a private equity group. Mr. Knop started his investment banking career at BB&T Capital Markets | Windsor Group. Mr. Knop graduated from Wingate University with a B.A. in Business and earned distinguished awards. He also obtained NASD Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
