Bio

Marie has a degree in economics focusing primarily on accounting and consolidated financial statements. She began her career in the audit profession and worked for a few years as an authorised public accountant. After ten years in auditing, Marie has held several roles, including chief accountant and CFO. Since 2010, she has been the Financial Controller at Fairford. Marie grew up on the island of Frösön and has always lived in Jämtland apart from 3.5 years at Uppsala University. She lives with her partner and two teenage daughters in the village of Digernäs near Östersund. In close collaboration with the team in Group Finance, Marie is primarily responsible for accounting, annual accounts and consolidated financial statements in Fairford’s holding companies. She is driven by working with the team to develop processes, mainly for reporting and documentation.
