Bio

Bjarne has for many years been senior manager of finance, IT, as well as legal and HR functions in global companies, most recently as CFO of Hottinger, Brüel & Kjær, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange via Spectris. Bjarne is a value-driven person with experience from the tech industry – especially from Medical Diagnostic and Test & Measurement. He has been employed in both privately owned and listed companies in Denmark, the USA and England. In addition to Denmark, he has lived in Switzerland and the USA. Throughout his career, Bjarne has helped solve many different strategic challenges. The latest major strategic project was the merger of two global sister companies within the technology industry with a total turnover of €500m. Here, Bjarne participated in the pre-analysis and was subsequently responsible for the integration office in addition to the CFO role. In addition, the career has e.g. offered all kinds of M&A activities, operational improvements, reorganizations of companies and change management, in addition to focusing on the implementation of LEAN. Bjarne focuses on achieving the goals via a professional and collaborative approach, where open and honest communication is a basis for building trust. He graduated from CBS and has further education from INSEAD in France and Singapore. Bjarne joined the partnership in Executive Capital in November 2021.
