Bio

Throughout her life, Annemette Færch has worked with education, management and collaboration, from teaching school students in primary schools to working with managers in some of Denmark's largest companies. She uses these skills today in board work, investments and as a partner in Executive Capital. Annemette is a trained teacher from the seminary, but has since taken a number of additional courses in, among other things, management, economics, business excellence and public governance from CBS, Columbia, Wharton and INSEAD. She has used her education in foundation work, company boards and voluntary work. As a board member of Færch Holding and since chairman of Færchfonden, she has helped to manage strategy and handle the divestments of Færch Plast and Skandinavisk Tobakskompagni. In addition to the Færch Foundation, Annemette holds a number of other board positions. Partly, she is on the board of Danhydra, which makes hydraulic components and specially turned valves for, among other things, the wind turbine industry. In addition, she is chairman of Excellent Play, which evaluates and certifies the learning quality of toys for use by parents and in institutions. Annemette sits on the board and has invested in Zetland, which is a digital news media, as well as Xoco Fine Cocoa Company, which sources cocoa beans from Honduras. Under the auspices of Executive Capital, Annemette has invested in the clothing chain Message and the companies BOS A/S and Guldborg Legepladser ApS. She has been a partner since November 2014 and in 2020 took over the position as chairman of the board.
