Mr. Engstrom has more than nine years of experience in renewable energy across nearly every segment of the value chain including project finance, greenfield development, construction management, operations, and product management. He has raised financing for over 2GW of solar and wind projects. Mr. Engstrom specializes in transaction management and financial modeling in the renewable energy sector, including tax equity, debt, and M&A. Mr. Engstrom was most recently an Associate at CohnReznick Capital where focused on equity and debt raises and asset M&A. Prior to that, Mr. Engstrom was a Senior Analyst for SunEdison, where he focused on project finance for US utility-scale solar and wind projects, M&A transactions, and corporate equity raises. Before SunEdison, he worked at GE Power & Water, where he performed customer segmentations for GE’s wind business. Mr. Engstrom also worked for Cargill in its Global Emissions European Power & Gas Trading group where he developed, constructed, and managed the operations of three waste-to-energy projects. Mr. Engstrom received his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Business School and a BA from Purdue University.
