Mr. Kahn joined Exaltare in 2017 with eighteen years of private equity investment experience. He is responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring transactions. Prior to joining Exaltare, Benjamin was a Principal at H.I.G. Capital, a private equity firm focused on the middle market, where he spent nine years. At H.I.G. Benjamin invested in platform companies and add-on acquisitions across a variety of sectors. Before joining H.I.G. Benjamin spent six years at Glencoe Capital in Chicago, a middle-market private equity firm, where he completed principal investment opportunities in consumer, business services, and manufacturing companies. Previously Benjamin worked at Madison Dearborn Partners in its healthcare services group. He began his career as a financial analyst in the investment banking division at Bear, Stearns & Co. Benjamin earned a B.S. with honors in finance and accounting from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
