Bio

Edward is the Managing Partner of the Ethos Mid Market Fund I, he is also a member of Ethos’ Executive Committee. He led the mid-market investments into Kevro, Gammatek, Synerlytic and Crossfin. Ed joined Ethos as an Associate in 2011, within our large buyouts team. During this time he has been involved in the successful delisting and ultimate exit of Universal Industries, the acquisition of Autozone and LGB. He also served on the boards of House of Busby and Atio (prior to the exit of this investment by the Ethos Technology Fund). Prior to Ethos, he worked in the Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team at Barclays Africa Group. Before this, he worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Ed is a CA, holds a Masters in Financial Management Sciences (University of Pretoria) and a Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from INSEAD. He is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
